This is doable right? I know someone who has a T56 for sale. He is asking $400 and I was thinking about buying it for my 1994 GT and having the T5 swapped out for the T56 if it will even work. I won't be doing the work myself I know someone who has transmission experience that will do it out of his garage. As long as it can be done and parts can be ordered to do it he will take on the job.

Any tips/feedback on this? Thanks

 

You'll just need to track down the right output shaft and drive shaft to make it all line up right.
