I just picked up the car a few weeks ago and transferred the event recorder that I had in my last car into this one. The issue I have is the console accessory plug is always powered on. I need it to turn off when the key is off.

Any easy suggestions? I don't have the knowledge to mess with the wiring but is this something I could easily have done somewhere?

 

you need to go to the accessary side of the fuse box. or find a port in the fuse box that shuts off with the key. then wire it to that. red wire or orange wire only.
