Default TIMING

i need to know what would be the best timing for my car here are the mods.

302 bored .30 over to 306ci
edelbrock rpm performer head
gt40 upper/lower intake
bbk shorty headers
H pipe
MSD 6AL
MSD coil
24# Injectors
255LPH fuel pump
Adjustable fuel pressure regulator set at 50 psi
Mass air conversion
75mm Mass air sensor calibrated for 24 injectors
8mm bosch wires soon to be 9mm motorsport wires or 8.5mm msd wires... wich would you choose?

soon to have 75mm throttle body

i need to know what mods would require timing adjustment?
also what should the timing be with the stock throttle boddy and with a 75mm?
what PSI should my fuel be at this point?

i also dont want to lose bottom or top end i really would like it to be evened out with a broad powerband

Default RE: TIMING

Anything that alters airflow into or out of the engine CAN require a timing adjustment but not always. The heads and cam would make the most difference. The wires you choose should be the ones with the lowest resistance per foot.Believe it or not mods that will allow you to pull timing out will yield as good or better HP numbers than mods that require timing advances. This is because of combustion efficiency. The closer to TDC you can set off the fuel the less the expanding gasses push back down on the pistons.I found this out when I had the heads on my H-D dual plugged.I was able to pull 5* of advance and gained about 8 HP over a non dual plug head.
