Default battery problems

i threw a code for a camshaft position sensor malfunction. so i researched it and it i got that alot of people get that when the alternator is going bad. so i tested it and it was good. so i replaced the sensor and reset my computer. now when i was driving the car the battery just died. anyone have any ideas?

Faulty connection- always check the simplest of things first
Check your cables and wires leading up to the battery as well or it could be the battery has drained over time what kind of battery and how long have you had it
