Default Electrical Problem

I hope that somebody can help me out. I bought an 86 Mustang not to long ago, and within a month of the purchase it was broken into and my radio was stolen. When a put a new one in my light that illuminate my gauges in my dash stopped working. I checked my fuses and they were all okay, so I ended up tearing my dashboard apart looking for the problem and couldn’t find one. I put my dashboard back together and found that I have more than one problem. I now have a 15 amp fuse that blows as soon as I put a new one in. I tore my dashboard apart again and look for an electrical short. I went out and bought a short finder but it looks like there are none and all the wires look good. Now none of my courtesy lights work, my radio, and my door chimes don’t go off. I don’t know if I have a short or if it is another problem. If anyone knows anything or had a problem similar I would appreciate it greatly if you could share some information with me.

Default Electrical Problem

The problem is you hooked up the radio wires wrong...you'll need to get a wiring schematic and hook it up correctly
