Default Break pads help, please

I will need to replace brake pads soon and I'm really confused in the world of pads. So could you please help me to save a few $. All I need is lack of squeaking and no dust or as little as possible. This would be to GT '10 (normal driving, no track, etc.) Hawk is a bit too expensive. I am thinking about Duralast from AutoZone bit the price looks too good to be true.

BREAK pads you say?

LOL.

Duralast BRAKE pads aren't really that good but if price is what your concerned about then I don't see why not.

No matter what price range you will not find any "no dust" brake pads. You can get low dust pads but they will be expensive.

I saw some rims that are almost black from dust from the pads. This is what I want to avoid. I understand that dust can't be avoided. I am more concern of squeaking sound.

At my shop we use the Akebono ProAct pads on most jobs.. Least amount of noise complaints. Also a low dusting pad. Not the cheapest, but worth the investment.

I'm confused... why would anyone want to "break" their "brake" pads?

ran Akebono on my '07 (per a recommendation) with slotted/drilled rotors...great pads, but a bit pricey. But then again, this is NOT an area where you want to skimp or go cheap
