and SVO rearend would be nice, i belive that they have bigger calipers to because i know that the fronts are like 73mm compared to i think 60mm on 5.0.

Dana is probably the toughest dif made. Unfortunatly it's for Jeeps, and another brand that's spelled..CH^^Y!

Dan 60 is commonly found under 3/4 ton trucks. They are real expensive to set up too. they are also OMG heavy. I don't see why any 5.0 or even 5.8 car would ever need one......

guy said he would sell it to me for $250 i dont know the exact specs but he had a drag SVO that ran some ridiclous number and he was plannig on putting the dana in but he twisted the frame or sumthin along those lines and now he just wants to get rid of it, he said sumthin about aluminum spline or sumthing maybe a 3.73 gear in it with calipers and jazz... will this bolt up to a 86 GT or am i gunna need a lot of modification just to get it to fit right? If it is the toughest diff. made then i want it and for $250 you cant beat the price, and its not necessarily broken or sumthin wrong with it, its my friends cousin and hes got a lot of money and its in his garage and he wants to get rid of it... im gettin more info on it either tonight or tomorrow so i might have the specs by then but if it doesnt bolt up or go in with minor mods then im not gunna bother, and as far as heavy goes how much more do they weigh as opposed to, say, stock rear-end?

for 250 i would go ahead and buy it that is a real good price but the 8.8 should be enough for any street car. I had a 8.8 (built of coarse) that came out of a 8 second car.
