i have a friend that has an older dodge stealth v6 DOHC 5 spd, all stock plus he beats the crap out of the car, he said that one of friends that owns a shop and can get parts found a chip that will put his car up to 375 horsepower, i told him that this is crap and the chip is $300. but he dont belive me, i know cars pretty deccent but this is a lil farfetched, so give me your guys opinions

 

i cant believe you are asking this! maybe 7.5hp not 175 hp. For $300 who wouldnt buy one. you could probably sell him performance stickers for $100 each they add at least 50 hp right?

 

im not asking anything im seein what guys say about this, and about the performance stickers i might try that on ebay sometime. lol

dude, if you could get 375 hp outta a stealth for 300 bucks, theyd be the shiz. i dont see many of em around, so i doubt that claim beyond the claim that my stang could whoop a friggin supersonic fighter jet. NOT EVEN POSSIBLE. ask him what hes smokin, and if hed mind sharin. lol.

I'd tell him you were searching the net, and found one on Ebay that is a 300hp chip for even less. Tell him he is loosing free hp if he doesn't jump on it. It's amazing what a little tweak of the timing and a/f ratio can do these days.
