Default 393 Windsor (Header size???)

I am fixing to order a set of headers and I am wondering what size to buy and whats the best? I am running a 393 Windsor with a .680 solid roller cam and AFR Renegade 220 heads with the 58cc combustion chamber. Max RPM is 7,000. Should i go 1 3/4", 1 7/8" or 2" primaries into a 3 or 3 1/2" collector? What name brand do you suggest for the best performance? Thanks for all help and suggestions.

I'd try for a step header going from 1 3 /4 to 1 7/8.
Call Accufab in California ask for George Klass, he knows what he's doing with stuff.
Be ready to spend money however.......

Default Thanks

Thanks Tinman. I went with a set of KOOKS 1 7/8" stainless steel headers from Jegs. Some friends i have talked to have said they are supposed to be some of the best out there. We will see, they also have a lifetime warranty.

You'll probably still need to clean up the welds inside the flanges with a carbide de-burring bit for unrestricted flow. I did this on a set of BBK's I just bought.

Do you have to run special spacers or something due to the 1 7/8 tube size?
What is the bolt spacing on that head for the header flange?

It has a 3 inch bolt spacing. They are supposed to be a direct fit specifically made for the AFR.
