A few days ago I was driving and steped on the gas and the Battery Dash light blinked once right before the car shifted gears. It did it again the next day, then a few days later (yesterday) my car didn't start. I was running errands and it randomly died in a parking lot. It made the clicking noise, so I got a jump and went to Autozone to buy a new battery. Before I replaced it I tried starting the car several times and it did about 4 times before I wouldn't start and clicked.

The car starts no problem with the new battery, but I noticed the light blink earlier today when in High Rpms. Does anyone know the cause of this?

Tl;dr Battery light blinks randomly at high RPM's with new battery.

 

Take your car back to AutoZone and have them test your Alternator. They will do it for free. Good luck...
