Default 2006 Mustang V6 Convertible Top NOT WORKING!!

I have a 2006 ford mustang v6 convertible and the top doesn't work. When I detach the latches and press the convertible switch, all the windows go down but the top doesn't move at all. I replaced the motor, replaced all the fuses in the job box (31, 33, & 13) and still nothing. I assume its not a bad switch because the windows still move into motion in the process of dropping the top. I did a test on the motor by getting a battery jump box clamped with 2 paper clips and then I inserted the paper clips into the yellow and red socket of the motor and the top started to motion down. Did it both ways and it went up and down. Wen I connected the motor plug back to the socket in the trunk and tried it from the switch, the windows worked but the top didn't move. WHAT COULD BE THE ISSUE. SOMEONE HELP MEEEEEEEE!!! ITS TOO HOTT OUTSIDE FOR THIS TO BE HAPPENING LOL
