Default 05-09 s197 stroke

Im sure this has been posted, I'm in the works to buy a Mustang. I really like the 05-09 body style. I'm looking to get this thing to 500+ rwhp for street and track. I've been doing a lot of reading and I'm just concerned on one subject. If I stroke the motor I know that can seriously help with horsepower output but what about the engine block itself? Will it be safe?

I plan on using a turbo or supercharger, and I just need to know, will the upgraded internals be all I need to run much higher horsepower?

I also read that to truly see a good increase in power without ruining the motor I should upgrade the cams because the vvt( might be wrong) system can't adjust to the new power band(hope I said that right) . If so what do you all think a good setup would be running new internals cams and a supercharger vs a turbo?

get a forged rotating assembly. I believe the stock block itself is fine for more then 500hp. if your there might as well get some cams setup for SC/Turbo and replace the valve train with better springs etc.
