Default Trading Car In With Mods

Hey Guys
I am moving to Florida for work and at this time probably gonna sell my car. It has a CAI, Tune, Exhaust, and a MGW shifter. I was wondering if i went to the dealer with the mods on it if it would hurt the trade in value. Ill probably wind up selling it outright but just wanted to know if anyone ran into this before.

Dealers want cars that are stock - much easier for them to sell. A CAI is minor though and as long as the tuner is with the car it shouldn't hurt but mods don't help with a trade in. But it would be easy to take off the CAI, set the car back to stock, and then you can sell the intake and tuner separately.

As far as the shifter and exhaust - not going to hurt, but not going to help either.

IMO, I'd just sell the car myself for a near retail price.
Wholesale is the best that you could hope for at the dealer anyway.
Big differance in the amounts of money you would see.
I sure hope you own that car free and clear........

If you trade the car for something else. Go to MILHAM Ford in Easton. He takes Tuned/modded cars but he will want the programmer/tuner.

I have bought my last two stangs from them and they never cheated me. Even gave me some bucks for the mods.

The Owner, has his own cobra jet he races on weekends and stick back on the showroom floor Mon-Fri

My last 2013 I just traded he took for two weeks as his daily driver, burning up a set of Nitto's to try it out.

They love modded stangs at Milham.

Yah, one not so bad on gas and a little easier on the wallet.
