I know this is probably a dumb question. Are Shaker 500's SAT ready? I am looking to buy a kit for my 2006 mustang so that I can listen to my iPhone in my car but there are two different models of the kit, one for SAT ready stereos and one for stereos that aren't SAT ready. The kits are PA15-FORD1 and PA15-FORD2. I have been searching the net trying to find out if my radio is or isn't SAT ready so I will know which kit to buy. Thanks for any help anyone can give.

 

what does SAT ready mean? satellite - as in sirius or ?

 

That is not a dumb question. I have been trying to get into my radio ESN and I have been unsuccessful using the recommended AUX and preset 1 button. I am trying to figure out if my Shaker 500 on my '07 is Sat ready for Sirius.

 

i had trouble getting the radio ESN to show also, i called sirius and they activated the radio using the cars VIN. i was was on the phone with them for less than 15 minutes.

You can look here, to get your ESN or you can contact SIRIUS at 1-888-539-7474.

This means, you vehicle is capable of having satellite radio, but it does not, moncherou.
