They have completed the new UCA and it's in the process of being shipped out to everyone that had ordered them.

That's good to hear. I got on the list a little later than others, so I probably won't get mine anytime soon. Hopefully will have it by next month. Since they haven't had me send the old one back yet, I may be able to take V1 vs. V2 pictures whenever it gets here.

Got an email from Whiteline today. They have shipped out the new unit for me, along with a return label for the old one. So it seems like I'll be able to do a side-by-side (even though mine is a bit messed up). Still, I will be able to look into the changes they have made. According to the tracker, it will be here by Saturday. Might not be able to put it on this weekend though.

Cool. I threw mine away. :-) I'm happy with the BMR.

I may end up using BMR for the subframe connectors and other braces. I just got to find a shop that will weld them on for me.

AM posted v2 on the SVT thread this week, but only posted pictures of the shaft, not the mount. You can see the pictures, and my same post here: http://www.svtperformance.com/forums...l#post13513322

It looks like they changed the weld, it is more fine and precise vs. the blobby kind of work on the old version. There are braces around the driveshaft end, and there is a thicker longer brace for it.

As far as the diameter of the shaft, it is about the same. The newer one does weight 8 lbs. vs. the v1 7 lbs.

The metal "ring" around the bushing is now wider, making it as wide as the bushing itself (what the v1 should have done anyways). However, what is unusual is that they cut out a square just under (or above I should say if mounted on the car) the bushing area.

What do the metal gurus think of the newer design? I won't be able to put it on this weekend to try it, but may be able to slap it on next weekend to put it through some paces.

Here are my pictures:

Thanks for the pics. The reason they cut out the square is the clearance around the bushing. Mine was rubbing in that area and I sent them the pics I posted here. I sure hope they got if right this time.
