My female friend have a 02 gt that ran hot. Idk what exactly happened because I wasn't driving it but she told me that it started smoking and the temp gauge went all the way to the red and all the coolant spilled out on the ground. I know it could be anything but what you guys think could be the problem

 

Broken hose, cracked radiator, split thermostat housing...

 

Could be the thermostat went bad.
