i get the same gas mileage on my 5-speed GT that i got on my automatic V6. plus a stick is more fun. i live in a college town with tons of traffic and pedestrians and hills...but i wouldnt trade my 5-speed for an auto any day. plus....if youre going to own a Mustang GT...an automatic is cheating...youve gotta be able to actually drive and feel the car and the shifts in a car like this. dont get mad at me all u auto owners...i kno there are plenty of reasons for an automatic tranny...i just prefer the manual so much. i respect both tho.
