Default 68 mustang wiring problem

I'm working on a 68 coupe. My problem is the rear parking lights are staying on (not the front). I have disconnected the light switch, brake switch, steering column turn signal connector, and even removed the flasher. Still have the lights on. Any help?? Just started this and it is intermittent.

You probably have a short in the parking light circuit. Sorry, there is no magic bullet with electrical issues. You’ll have to investigate this yourself or pay someone to do it for you. I would recommend starting at the bulb and walking back with a volt/multi-meter till you find the short. This is a whole lot easier if you have the wiring diagram for your ride. Good luck...

Found the cross feed but still don't know why it is feeding the rear lights. This car has had an ignition system change and the "I" post on the solenoid is hot and cross feeding the lights. Who knows why, that is still a mystery. The ignition system has been retrofitted with a Davis Unified Ignition, a GM HEI in a Ford configuration. When whoever tapped the system for twelve volts for the distributor, probably tapped a hot lead for the lights. Anyway, I disconnected the "I" post and all is well. Thanks for the comments.
