I have a 2001 mustang gt. I need to know when it was built because I'm trying to order some underdrive pullies. One set of the pullies works from 96 to early 01. Another set works from late 01 to 04. I have really no clue when my car was manufactured, and I was told to look in my driver door jam. Because the car is so old , it's barely visible. It says 10/ and the last 2 are missing. So I know it was built in october, but could it have been made in '00 or '01? I think if it was made in October 01, it would have been an 02 model year right? Or did they keep making the 01 model year until october?

 

Are you trying to buy aftermarket or stock UDPs? Have you asked this question at the nearest Ford dealership?
