What do you guys think about this intake. Is it worth buying or should I buy MAC cold air intake?
Does anyone have March Ram air intake in their car,if so how does it work?

 

I personally wouldn't buy any of them.The stock airbox draws the coolest air from the fenderwell,and you can trim the silencer to remove the restriction.The March Ram Air system would be an exception.It draws cooler air from outside the car close to the ground but for $120 is just too expensive for something you could make yourself.You could trim the silencer to allow some 4" scat hose(available from www.aircraftspruce.com) to be attached inside the silencer.Run the hose down to a location behind the bumper and fabricate an intake scoop that could go just about anywhere.Just be sure to use a high pressure area or you could end up with LESS air going into the intake.I'm going to make one of these as soon as I get time.

 

problem w/ the march ram air is sucks up water from the road, leaves and all kinds of crap.....

i think the mac cai is ok, you won't see a performance gain, but if your looking to dress up the engine compartment a little go for it.
another plus of the mac is at the track, you can ice the whole intake and tube.

as far as the silencer....just get rid of it
