Unhappy turn signal problem

Hey there,

I just realized last night, that my turn signal (on drivers' side- in the front and on the back) are not turning off anymore. I took the key out of the ignition and locked the car, but still the turn lights burn. (They burn constantly!)

I checked all the wires and fuses, but I think it might be the relay.

Does anybody know where to find the turn lights' relay?

Or maybe someone has experienced that problem before and is able to help me? I am really running out of ideas.

Thanks so much!

Does the left side blink, if so it's not the flasher relay. I'm on the smartphone app so I don't know what year car you have, but they stay on with the key off, sounds like the Hazards. Never mind, they'd all stay on. Sorry can't help more.

Is it the turn signal or park light portion of the bulb....

Any wetness ever on or around the passenger front floor board?

Owners manual has fuse box layout for all systems.

@88orangepeelnotch:
The left turn signal blinks twice as fast as it should. If I activate the hazards, the left side blinks as it is supposed to, the right side still burns without blinking.
It's a '06 V6...

@AZpete:
It is the turn light signal. Well, as it was raining a few days ago there might have been some wetness on the passengers' floor. But I couldn't discover any wetness in there now. So that should be ok.
Sadly I couldn't find a fuse for the turn signal. Is it a fuse with another name tag on?

Thanks a lot for your advice to both of you!

Sounds like a bad bulb somewhere?

Checked all the bulbs... sadly no bad bulb.

Also just checked on the hazards, the hazard switchgear works. If I turn on the hazards, the right side still burns constantly, the left side operates as usual...

Try swapping the bulbs from side to side.....see if the problem follows the swap.

If a turn signal flashes faster on one side, that is very indicative of a bad bulb on that side.

I swapped the bulbs. Still the same problem.

Yeah, I thought the same but both bulbs are totally fine.

I'm at my wit's end...

I would pull each fuse and relay one at a time to see if any fused circuit is causing the issue.

I think I heard of someone with this issue having it be a bad multi function switch but have been unable to find the reference. Could disconnect it and see what happens.
