Default Sensitive brake light

I have a 2010 mustang gt with stock brakes. My brake light is activated when hardly any pressure has been put on the pedal. As a result, my buddy tells me that that light flashes on momentarily when I hit a bump or even downshift. Is there an easy way to adjust the brake light engagement point? Sorry if this question has already been answered.

Thanks
Bert

Whens the last time you checked the fluid level?
Not sure about the light engagement, but it sounds like the system is reading either an engagement of the braking system or low fluid, which could be a pinhole leak causing air to get in the line or possibly the e-brake line is not fully released from the rear brakes

I'm not familiar with the newer mustangs, but look at the brake pedal arm, there should be a switch there that has a threaded body for adjustments.

Ok thanks for the help. Im pretty sure the fluid level is fine, and there has been no loss in brake feel or engagement, but I'll check anyway as well as look for some kind of adjustment.
