My 06 Mustang GT Vert Auto Trans surges when starting out. You have to be very light on the pedal to have a mild start. I bought this car at 24000 miles and it was like that. Now I have roughly 30000 and am a little concerned. I have read of tranny falures on 06 models. I am 63 and on a limited income and do not want to throw good $ after bad. Any thoughts? Is there a better tranny to install in a 06 if it does fail? Tom
