Default 99-04 GT differences?

hey guys,

Im in the market for a 99-04 Mustang GT auto, hard top. I was just wondering if there was any variances in the different years? Like they addressed an issue that the early ones had in the later years. " Oh the '99 motor had this problem that they fixed in in '00 "?

Thanks!

The only thing I know they changed for certain in MID 2001 was the IAC. I honestly dont know why, but when I needed to replace mine on my 01 I needed the earlier style. There is a subtle change in design, and price. IAC's late 01-04 are about 30% more expensive than the 99-early 01 style.

Now... Why a hard top? I have my beautiful 2001 Mustang GT convertible automatic for sale. 69k miles, new top, 01 cobra wheels/brakes, white gauges, sequential tail lights and a diablo sport tuner.
