Default Turn Signals Not Working

I am having an issue with my turn signals. They were working fine a couple of days ago but all if a sudden they just stopped. The hazards work fine. The odd thing is that when the car is not running and the ignition switch is turned to the on position they work fine, but once I crank the car they won't work. I am highly confused. Does anyone have any idea what this could be?

One more thing. The fan on the a/c does not come on either. It is the same situation, when the ignition is turned on the fan blows fine but once I crank the car the fan won't blow. I have checked all of the fuses and they seem fine. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Just to clarify, you say when cranking the car over, as in starter engaged, but car is not yet running, your directionals won't flash and your blower motor stops. This is normal as all power goes to start the car.

If your problems exist while the car is running. Then you have bigger problems. Start with the fuse box, wiring, ignition switch, try wiggling the key while the car is running and see if the problems go away.

While the car is running the turn signals and blower won't come on; however, with the car not cranked or running and the key turned forward to the run position the turn signals and blower do work.

Sorry for the confusion.

Sounds like the ignition switch is loosing contact. Might try cleaning contacts or replacement.

If it was the ignition switch, would the turn signals still work with the key turned forward but not running?

You guys were right on. The ignition switch was loose. Just pushed it back in and everything works great. Then ask for the help.
