Default Gas

Hello

Will I see a significant difference in performance between 91 and 93 octane? Also, more and more gas stations around me (Wisconsin) have up to 10% ethanol in their premium gas as well. Would that also effect performance?

Nothing you would notice. Maybe better mileage cause it burns cleaner.

Now if you had 100 octane racing fuel - that would be a bit different. But you wont be able to tell between 91 and 93.

Very minor differences that you wouldn't notice.

Yep, no difference. I'm running the same gas as you and have played with both with different tunes and the difference was very minimal.

And on a side note, if you don't have any plans this weekend, Hot Rod Power Tour is ending in the Dells this Friday.

Ahh, the Power Tour. I was on it in 1997. I went from Denver to Mt Clemons MI. Was a great time! Sadly, I wont be able to get to the Dells this weekend.

Thanks for the replies on the gas. Starting to **** me off that premium is starting to get ethanol in it now.... I need to mentally scratch off some gas stations.
