Hello all, I have borla headers that are 2.25inchs along with a lethal Hpipe that is full length and 2.5inches. I want to weld cats onto it but have been told that i need 2.25 to 2.5inch adapters and clamps in order to get the midpipe to fit with the headers.

has anyone had any experience with this? and do i need 2 sets of clamps to get the adapters to hook onto the headers and the mid pipe?

Not sure if you need them but a visit to a muffler shop should provide you with the answers and cost. They could make any adapters you may need too.

just wondering if they would work and if i would need to buy clamps for the part of the adapters that connect to the headers and another set of bigger clamps for the part that connects to the midpipe

 

ARe you planning on doing this yourself? If not, find a good shop and talk with them.
