99 cobra has anyone had this done what was the proplem with it. because i have a noise coming from around center console. thanks

 

the problem is that a pawl in the parking brake mechanism is not properly engaging and they will install a braket to force it to engage......

Wasn't there a recall on the 99 Cobras to upgrade the horse power. If there really was what did they do to fix it?

 

the replaced the cat back and lower intake manifold and reflashed the computer

 

the recall for h.p. was done intake was extrude honed,reproramed computer,exhast all was done by org. owner.and also the exhast.Has sticker of verification.i but longtube headers on it ,o/r/off rode h pipe mac back system.twin 62mm t.b.,pulleys,had dyno/. at 298 rwhp. ran a 11.72@117mph.with m/t/ street ets.12.5X28 with 4.10 gears. <edited><editID>hotrodman</editID><editDate>37977.8575</editDate></edited>
