Default small rubber pry bar?

Looking to change the rear side tail light on my 09 gt and the instructions say to pop it out with a flat head but I don't want to risk chipping the paint so can anyone link a rubber pry bar or something they would recommend for this situation? Or could I just take a small towel and rubber band it around my flathead screw driver?

I think your towel/rubber band idea will be fine. The paint on your car is actually pretty thought stuff.

That may be too thick to get in between the light and panel. If you have a really thin flat head like they use for fixing glasses, you can slip that in there without damaging the paint. Just be gentle.

get an interior trim removal kit. They'll have some different plastic pry tools which you'll probably find useful for more than just this task.
