Does anyone know where the Mach 460 amps are in a 1994 Convertible?</P>


I've read that the Coupe has the amps mounted under the rear deck. But obviously that's imposible in a Convertible.</P>

Probably in the trunk were the rear deck would be. Not pretty things just silver colored boxes.</P>

you'll have the tweeters on the front doors where the mirrors are, just like on the coupes

 

There should also be a third amp mounted to the hump inside the dash. Pull the decks out and you will see it down at the bottom.

 

yea i dotn have one LoL o well im puttin in my system this week a pioneer head 2 12s and a 8oo watt amp somethin should crank

 

They are right behind the rear seats.

 

There is nothing in the trunk. There is no rear deck. There isn't anything on the sides of the inside of the trunk.</P>


I guess I could try to look behind the rear side panels, where the rear/side speakers are on a convertible.</P>


A third amp under the dash/in front of the center consol? Why? what speakers does it drive?</P>

 

The third amp drives the 2 1/2" tweeters.
