Anyone know what this button does?
Just got my 13 GT 2 weeks ago and I noticed this aftermarket button with a phone icon and a blinking blue LED. My car has SYNC, so I have no idea what this is. Anyone have a clue?
Thanks,
Steve

Found a link that says its so the dealership can track your car if it gets stolen.

Yeah, I pressed it. Then the blue LED started flashing. I didn't trace the wires and if you ever messed with taking a dash apart, you'd know why.
If this is a traceable security button then why would it be in plain sight?
My friends best guess was that it's an alarm you can monitor via a smartphone app. But the car doesn't have an alarm. I'm puzzled.

It's the ******** warmer, but a cheap Chinese knock off. In China, that icon doesn't mean telephone, it means ********. Also, it may look like it's upside down, but it's not. You have to remember that since China is on the other side of the planet, that's how their ***** hang. Down becomes up.
