Default Turbo Coupe Rear

i am thinking about buying an 88 turbo coupe tbird so i can swap rears with my 88 GT to get the disc rear.

how much work is involved with removing/installing the rears. will i need any other parts besides what the turbo coupe has to bolt everything up to my mustang?

do i need a new proportioning valve and brake lines or what? also im going to convert to 5 lug while i have the rear out.

also does anyone know if the turbocoupe rotors are the same size as a 5 lug sn95 rotor? im hoping i can just swap axles and rotors and be done

the rear end will fit right in there without any problems but it will be like 1" wider on both sides i believe, also you need to get a portpoting valve and the master cylinder from the turbo coupe, cobra, or some other vehicales i belive.

actualy it's .75" inch wider each side..this can be fixed with a more offset rim

oh well im will be using stock 98 GT wheels, 17x8 split 5 spokes with 245 45 17 tires..... hopefully theyl stay in there....

oh one more question, i have a 98 GT setup for the front... spindles calipers brake lines and rotors... will the turbo coupe proportioning valve work with that setup also?

cuz it will be a mixed up setup.. 98gt front conversion and turbocoupe rear disc
