Unhappy 1972 Grande Electrical Issue

My 72 Grande is totally kicking my butt blowing a fuse for the turn signals. I have been trying to fix this for almost 2 weeks and have not had any success. I have completely rewired the lighting in the trunk, I have pulled the harness out of the engine bay down to the fire wall, repaired, or replaced much of the 43 year old wiring. I pulled the top half of the fuse panel off and out to inspect, also pulled down the lower half to inspect. I replaced the turn signal harness in the steering column. Replaced both flashers still blows fuse. Here is where it gets interesting the fuseable link on the large gage yellow wire at the starter solenoid was not there an in line 30 amp fuse is in its place and when I get the turn signals working the fuse at solenoid blows when I turn the ignition switch on and I lose all power in the car, if it doesn't blow that fuse it blows the turn signal fuse if the ignition switch is on and blinkers turned on. The turn signals work just fine if I just use them. I have a Ford wiring CD that has wiring schematics and a good list of what color wires go to various positions. I am going to put a new ignition switch in tonight and see what happens and if needed I will pull the console out and check the neutral safety switch. Some where there has to be a dead short I sure need some fresh ideas on how to fix this car, I am considering buying a new Kwik 22 circuit harness and re wire it all but want to really know what the problem is first:
