Frustrated Gt
I recently replaced the starter solenoid in my son's 1988 Mustang GT. The car starts and runs great, however the power windows and radio no longer work. Both worked before I replaced the solenoid. I have replaced the power window fuse thinking it may be bad, it wasn't. All other fuses look good. Any Suggestions?
It is hard to diagnose problems like this from our keyboards. Your going to have to do the dirty work or pay someone to do it. It shouldn’t be to hard to figure out if you understand how electricity flows/works. Pick up a wiring diagram for your year/model ride from a factory service manual or alldatadiy.com and start poking around to find the fault. Maybe you pinched/damaged a wire in the wiring harness near the starter but I would be surprised if wires for the radio or window go anywhere near the starter. Maybe you dislodged a common ground connection for the radio & window (that is if they have a common ground connection)? I can’t say for sure since i don’t know the wiring schematic for your ride.
Good luck...

Do you have power at the fuse box for the radio and windows, if yes, do you have power at the radio, window switches, etc, etc.
You'll find the problem, but on electrical gremlins you gotta do some digging to uncover them. Good luck
Post back with what you find.
