Default 2015 Air Conditioned Seats Question

I just purchased a 2015 GT Premium and to my surprise, the air cooled seats are only blowing cool air from the bottom of seat. There is no air coming from the backrest of seat. Is this normal? Are your Mustangs the same or is something wrong with mine? I've been in other Ford products / Lincoln etc and the air conditioned seats blow cold air from bottom and backrest of seat. I could call the dealer but I am new to the forum so I figured I would try this approach first.

My Lincoln MKS does the same thing. Butt cheeks are nice and chilly with sweat rolling down the small of my back.

its not normal, the TED (thermal electronic device) in the seat cushion and the seat back should be able to drop the temp 14 deg from the ambiant tem of the air drawn into it. take it in and have it checked out. i have seen the wrong seat covers installed on other models without the holes cause this problem due to lack of air flow.

Thank you for your response. I called the dealership and the service department said that only the bottom of seat has air flow. The entire seat had perforations in the leather so I am still skeptical. I will try a different dealer and get a second opinion. I would feel better if I could find out if others with 2015 Mustang have same problem or if they all in fact have the back of their seats cooled as well. Thanks again.
