Hi guys! First off let me introduce myself.
My name is Mario, im 25 and i have a V6 Base model 2012. and im IN LOVE. Its my baby. I give it more love than my own gf haha. Well, I got in a little fender bender a month into having my baby but i got it fixed at my uncles shop. Now the only problem is whenever the passenger door is going to open, i have to pull the handle twice for it to open. If i just do it once it seems as if it is still locked. I dont want to go back to my uncle since he did me the favor of fixing the scratch. And i like to get dirty so i can do it myself if anyone were to point me in teh right direction.

Go back to your uncle and ask him how to fix the door! Your uncle is the expert, ask him to help you and let you do the work,

You may get dirty, but you also might make it worse. I'm not familiar with the newer cars, but it may be just a post/latch adjustment.
