I was talking to one of the service writers at the dealership near me and the said I could disable the governor and they would retune the car and it would get 35 more horse. anyone else heard this before

Lot of new cars have top speed limited that must be what's talking about.

A tune can give you a good boost in performance.

A governor usually affects top speed not HP. Service Writers are not always experts in such things. Check into a tuner for the car!
