its not to bad i think he got it sprayed for about 2000. we did all the primering and sanding... he had five coats of clear which is why it cost so much.. i love black cars, hate flat paint..esp after the laser red. that combo looks great though

Sweet Ride Jug, welcome to the club finally!!! Looks good. Is it quick?? You need to get to the track for a prelim run, what's instore for the future, and tell us all about it. </P>
Cool thing is, you're really in a sweet place right now. You got a stang, which is cool enough, but it's a turbo 4, which puts you in a whole different bracket within the stang world. Granted it is a 4 cylinder, but no one's going to knock you for your new ride. Best part is, you now have something to work on, and a whole new world of turbo timers, bovs, boost controllers is open to you, and closed to 85 percent of other stang owners. Plus you really have a great setup - Turbo with a V8s T5, so start saving, and start looking for mods, and best of all, start bragging, because you're finally here. trip, i agree, flat is not exactly my gig. 2k isnt really bad at all, especially for 5 coats of clear!</P>
jonny, im not sure how big that is, but odds are the little amount of exhaust this makes wont push it</P>
blkstang, he built up the stock 2.3 so the insurance (if im not mistaken) should be practically free. they think its a dinky 88hp 2.3... liab only shouldnt cost s**t. first mod? probably adj. clutch quadrant (it's kinda problematic) or tri ax. i gotta get everything working good before i put more wear on it!</P>
stealth, to me it's quick. i drove with my dad, parked it, took out my [half]brother and we got the f**k on it. i enjoyed it. do they let people under 18 go to the track? if so i gotta find some people to go with around here. it is pretty cool...it's a cool setup and its in the coolest looking car ever made <IMG src=smileys/smiley16.gif border="0">. turbo has a lot of potential, and also, like you said, if i lose, it's just a 4 banger (or is that not what you meant?).lol, bottom line, its cool to me, and moderately quick. PS, my amazing driving skills only stalled a few times<IMG src=smileys/smiley2.gif border="0"></P>
dan, hell yes. its gonna rock. ricers say "ohh, it's cause you have twice as many cylindaz dawg." im like "nope, i smoked you with a dinky old technology 2.3". i personally see it as the only way to go. get a car with a stock turbo (or engine that can easily accomidate one), and it's easy on gas (even though it needs premium) and insurance, but best of all it's unexpected when you smoke the hell outta them.</P>
