Hello beautiful people,

I need to replace my 84 Mustang 3.8 Cynlinder V6 whole steering column. Guy I purchased it from tried disassembling the ignition on the steering column & destroyed it to say the least. I was just wondering do I need an exact 84 model steering column or are there any other models that could work? I hope to hear from you guys soon!


P.S. Any information on where I could purchase the column would be greatly appreciated as well.

 

Any Foxbody steering column should work, but I'm not sure about the air bag ones from later Foxes. Stick with anything from the 80's and you should be good.

Craigslist or EBay to find a used column.
