Default junk yard 302

I got a 302 from a junkyard and was surprised to see the professional hone marks still the on the cyl walls.
only to see one cyl number 7 had a brand new piston in it.
.o6o oversized but the rest are stock. is this going to be a problem for me?
its going in my 67 mustang. its from a 1969 fairlane era.

The bearings are new cam stock but new, oil pump looks new.

Somebody did a slam job rebuild. I actually wound up with one like that in an old truck and it ran fine for years before I had to tear it apart and found out I was running 3 different size pistons.

.060 is a lot and while not exactly recommended, as long as everything else is in order, I'll bet it'd run just fine. I guess it depends on your budget and how bad it bothers you but if you're strapped, slap it together, fire it up and see what happens. If it doesn't knock and doesn't smoke then party till it pukes.

Welcome to the forum.

I agree, for a street car it should be fine if all else looks good. Now if your looking to make a 10 sec. drag car out of it, I'd look for another.

if the others are stock bore, you could always go 30 over and sleeve the one cyl that is 60 over, that would bring you back to a smaller overbore and get all they cyl the same size at the same time
