Aeroforce Wideband Kit + SCT X3 Datalogging
Gents....
If I understand what I've read I only need to use one of the firewire wires to capture wideband data? So far from my research I have read that you must use the 'Yellow' wire that goes from the wideband controller to the gauge and you can not have the gauge and the tuner connected at the same time....that is correct, right?
I have the cable from SCT (Part# 9608)
The way I understand it I can use the Orange wire (Analog 1) and cut off all other wires. Put some type of quick connector on the end of the Orange wire, cut the Yellow wire going from the controller to the gauge & then put a quick connector on each end to allow for easy switching between outputting to the gauge and datalogging. Is this correct? My car is currently in the shop, but I need to go there and wire up the cable so he can use data from the Wideband sensor to dial in my tune. I'll be working on the car while it's in their parking lot so I just want to be sure I go there with a good plan in place. Sorry if this was confusing...I was up until early morning reading up on how to do it, but there's not a lot of info out there. Thanks!!
