Default 2003 Power Window click in dash?

I have a 2003 Mustang GT. Driver's power window will not go down 99% of the time. When I press the down button, I hear a distinct click in the dash that sounds like a relay. I assume that is normal?

The passenger side works fine. I swapped the switches in the driver's door and no change, so the switch seems fine.

I am new to Mustangs. I assume I've got a bad power window motor... is there anything else that I may be missing?

Thanks everyone.

PS - for those that may have seen my new user post, the lack of CEL light turned out to be a bad bulb!

Yes the slight click sound is normal, as you suspected it is a relay.

Likely a bad motor. Before buying a new one I would remove it first (pretty easy to do as long as the glass is in the 'up' position) and bench test it by running a set of jumper wires directly from the car battery to the terminals on the motor. Doesn't matter which way you connect them; reversing polarity just changes the direction in which the motor spins.

If it works when you apply direct voltage then I would say it's fine, and your problem is elsewhere - since you can hear the relay then the switch would be a logical guess. If it doesn't work then go ahead and order a replacement.
