Ecoboost or V6???

If you don't plan to keep the vehicle for a long time I'd go with ecoboost.

If you plan to keep for many years I'd go with v-6 as it's simpler.

Well I ordered an Edge with an 2.0L Ecoboost today. My thinking: (1.) The Ecoboost was $665 cheaper including tax. (2.) In a car for my everyday common use I think low rpm torque is likely more important than total H.P. (3.) Better mileage. (4.) The $665. + tax might cover a valve, intake cleaning process down the road if necessary at about 70K miles.

At 74, if I last to put 70K miles on it things will have gone good.... I hope!
