I have a 95 GT with an AODE and when I accidentally put it in 2nd gear instead of drive it dies and it's only 2nd that does it!!! It's shift points seem off also! It does have 18s now and the speedo is off by about 10-12mph if that makes a difference! It also feels like someone may have installed some kind of shift kit!

Sorry I can't help as I'm not that familiar with the AODE, but you could try starting a new thread in the 79-95 Tech section. Someone there may know more.
