Upgrading and restoring
Hey, first off I want to tell you I'm not really good in the car scene but my friend suggested that I go on these forums. I was planning to buy a used 2007 mustang v6 premium, and I need to know what parts I should change, upgrade or work on. If you are wondering what car I'm getting, it is this https://www.cargurus.com/Cars/l-Used...ting=168913589
I have a 2006 v6...
i had the ball joints replaced last year;
cd player is cheap junk-- needs replacing cause it kept draining my battery;
steering pump was leaking... & replaced last year;
new wiper blades last year.
new battery last year.
that's all i can think of. but it IS 10 years old lol

With only 84,000 miles if it has been well cared for shouldn't be much to do. Check the thermostat housing, it is a common failure point on the 4.0 and easy to replace (get the aluminum one off amazon).
Ball joints possible just given the age. I never had a problem with the shaker draining the batter on my 2006.
