Help with part ID
Hi guys,
I changed the Heater core in my 2000 Mustang. Everything works as it should but I had a part left over and I don't know what it is.
It fell out of the center section of the dash when I pulled the dash back to get to the heater.
There is a part number: F8ZB-63045G90-AA
Hope one of you guys know what this is and where it goes.

that part# base shows up as 63045G90 - BRA ASY I/PNL LWR CTR
I interpret that "mainframe speak" as "Bracket assembly, instrument panel lower center." looks like a filler/joiner panel between to parts of the dash. Sorry, don't have any more info than that.

Thank you. I don't know how necessary it is. Everything seems to work without it in there.

I'm trying to find an exploded view drawing of the center section of the instrument panel to decide if it really needs to be in there. No luck so far.

I looked up the workshop manuals, but they only get so far into removing the instrument panel to change major assemblies like the HVAC box and other stuff. that little part doesn't show up anywhere.
