S197 headlight issues
Hello everyone,
I have a 2010 4.0L V6, base model mustang. Also for reference (if it even matters) I have the Xenon CCFL halo headlight housings with standard halogen bulbs. My headlights just recently started causing the following problems:
1): Sometimes when I turn the headlights on the high beams will already been on even with the switch on the column in the low beam position
or
2): if I'm running the low beams and switch to high beams and then back to low beams either both will still be stuck on high or the passenger side will be stuck on high beam and the driverside will switch back to low beam like it is suppose to.
Majority of the time it's been the 2nd case. But I need some advice on where to start looking. I have read some forums where people were having similar issues and saying that their issues were caused by "a faulty relay," "a faulty column switch," or "the switch on the dash that turn the headlights and parking lights on and off was bad."
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks!

According to this 2011 wiring diagram there is a high beam {non-serviceable}relay in the smart junction box. Maybe it's sticking? http://iihs.net/fsm/?d=711&f=085%20-...olamps.pdf&p=3
Don't know if 2010 and 2011 use the same diagram.
Check for water damage on/at the SJB.
