Power Brake Booster Unit Adjustment?

Power Brake Booster Unit Adjustment?
My Mustang (2013 V6 Premium) has had a long brake pedal throw since I got 2 yrs ago. The master cylinder went bad, with the pedal sinking slowly to the floor when the car is stopped. I replaced the MC, flushed and bled the lines clear of air. The braking improved, but the distance the pedal had to be pressed to get the brakes to apply is still too long for my comfort. The dealer I bought it from told me the booster was replaced by the previous owner under warranty. I've been researching this and found that there is an adjustment rod in the booster that should be adjusted when the booster is replaced. Has anyone had to adjust one of these rods? Any advice on this would be deeply appreciated!

I don't know of a spec for the booster adjustment rod or even if there is one on your year. Was the travel too long before you replaced the master cylinder? Excessive brake pedal travel can be caused by, brake fluid leaks or air in the system; brake master cylinder; brake flexible hoses expanding; or brake calipers or caliper guide pins. You've done most of the things listed but have you checked to make sure the caliper guide pins aren't seized? Especially the rears if you drive in salt conditions.

Thanks for your response. Since I didn't replace the brake booster myself, I don't know if it was adjusted during assy. My guess is not. I've had a mechanic look at the entire brake system and was told that except for the excess travel all is fine. I replaced the rotor ad pads a year ago and paid particular attn to the guide pins. This adjustment is all that's left.
