Default Check engine light

So random question? How many key turns do you have to have before new codes show up?

I had a p0012 code says time is retarded. Well I spent the day fixing her up and got everything back in place where it belongs. Now I just want to make sure no codes pop up before I button it up. Right now I have tons of code but they are all do to no drive belt and not all the sensors are hooked up.

Yes the check engine light. I know it's based off x amount of system faults by x amount of key cycle s? What is x. I don't want to drive the car know I'm going have to take it apart .I'll like to just run it in my garage already Lifted.
