Default Just got my first Mustang

Hello I I just purchased a new to me 2017 Mustang GT premium . Was wondering what is the best cold air intake I can buy that will give me the most horsepower willing to tune if I have to? There's so many options out there and this is my first Mustang , first sports car .I could use some good advice from some veteran in Mustang owners

Welcome aboard. Careful with mods as some dealerships are just too happy to void your warranty.
From the pic below it almost looks as if the intake already is a cold air type. The filter media would be what I'd change. Any open filter in the engine bay would just suck in engine heat...IMHO

They are, essentially, CAIs; air is drawn from the fenderwell, from outside the car.
EXPOSED cone filters inside the engine bay ARE NOT true CAIs.

K&N makes a good CAI. You can pick one up from Jegs or Summit Racing.

If you have to get one, choose based on appearance and price. They really don't do anything, any hp gains you realize are due to tuning changes.

Any air intake change you make will be purely for aesthetics. Ford spent a lot of Money Getting It Right
